MAZDA WINS GOLD AT SWEDEN'S SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 2015

Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts film "Mazda" produced by Stefan Henriksson & Markus Waltå, directed and written by Alexis Almström won Gold at the Student Film Section at Sweden's Short Film Festival, that was hosted at Bio Rio on April 10-12th.

Mazda won 5 awards at the ceremony, Best Cinematography - Karin Stenwall, Best Editing - Joel Rayner, Best Actress in a Leading Role - Evin Ahmad, Best Screenplay - Alexis Almström and Gold, for Best Student Short Film 2015.

The film was also invited for a seminar on culture in film where director Alexis Almström, actor Gael Kinsungila and producer Stefan Henriksson participated in.

Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts was also mentioned as Film School of the Year and other awards included Silver Award for Catwalk (J. Lind, E. Jones), Actress Honorable Mention,  Freddie Mosten-Jacob for Catwalk, Bronze Award for "Every other week" (V. Öhnedal), Best Directing - Anette Gunnarsson for Every Other Week and Best Music - Katharina Nuthall for "Lakshmi" and Best Sound - Mikael Månsson for "Lakshmi".
